Action Tattoo: Feel The Pain! 20 mins video share it!

I’m a tattoo artist from Heidelberg, Germany. I moved to the States in 2010, where I was tattooing at A1 Tattoo, Kansas City / Missouri www.a1tattooshop.com for a year. In summer 2011 I came to the beautiful Seattle area, and will be tattooing here at Action tattoo for the next 3 years.

My biggest mentor was Crazy Greg at Crazy Greg’s Tattoos in Heidelberg/Germany www.crazygregs.de, but I am also very grateful to have found great advice and inspiration at the other studios I worked at, Elektrische Taetowierungen Koeln, A1 Tattoo KC, and last not least with my good friend Suse from Die Stichelei Wuerzburg , (I’m a lucky gal, I always had and still have great teachers for developing new skills!)

I have been an illustrator since 2000, and started tattooing several years ago. It helped me to have been drawing professionally every day for years, even though tattooing requires not only special mechanic skills but also artwork that takes into account the requirements of durable ink in a living skin canvas

I love travelling and tattooing at Conventions. My favorite work is designing and tattooing unique custom pieces, tattoos that require drawing skills, and fit to the ‘layout’ of the body. I love Japanese style (or my Westernized adaption of it), I also love comic, pinups and horror themes.

I love indie comics (like Love & Rockets, Ralf Koenig and German Indie) and had two little collections of my own comic stories printed in Germany (I’m still drawing comics for a German magazine when I can find the time).
